What are the benefits of hiring a design agency / company vs. a freelancer / sole-trader?

Can you design for both print and digital platforms?

Print and digital artwork require different colour modes (CMYK & RGB respectively), resolutions, and output settings. We prepare print-ready files professionally for printed items such as brochures, business cards, packaging, etc. For websites, social media, and animation, we prepare optimized digital files to ensure optimal results in every format. Understanding these technical differences prevents costly mistakes and ensures your brand appears consistent and high-quality across all platforms.

Who owns the final artwork?

(TLDR): Once the project is completed and paid in full, clients receive rights to use the approved final artwork.

By default, intellectual property (IP) for design work rests with the creator (i.e. an agency such as ours) under copyright law. However, our clients own the final, delivered, and paid-for design, while we retains ownership of the production/source files, methodology, non-final drafts, and un-chosen designs. For logo design projects, vector source files are supplied to provide full usability and long-term control of your brand assets.

While based on the Sunshine Coast, we work with clients across Australia — including Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney — as well as “across the ditch” in New Zealand.
